The Blue Diamond Autowing is engineered to automatically adapt to the way you're plowing. Mechanical wings respond to blade position, giving operators the advantages of multiple snow plow configurations without separately controlling each wing.

Scoop Mode — Carry More Snow

With the moldboard facing forward, the wings automatically default to scoop position, helping capture and contain snow instead of allowing it to spill from the sides.

The scoop configuration can carry up to 30% more snow per pass than a straight blade, making it ideal for moving accumulated snow across parking lots, loading areas, and other large paved surfaces.

Windrow Mode — Cleaner Passes

Angle the moldboard hydraulically and the wings automatically transition toward an efficient windrowing configuration.

The leading wing directs additional snow into the moldboard, helping maintain a fuller pass with less spill-off. With a 93.4-inch plowing width at full angle, operators can efficiently move snow to the side while reducing the number of cleanup passes required.

Straight Blade Mode — Maximize Width

When a traditional straight-blade configuration is preferred, the wings can be easily pinned back. This provides a wide, predictable blade profile for backdragging, cleanup, and general snow removal.

One attachment gives operators the flexibility to scoop, windrow, or plow straight depending on changing site conditions.

Automatic Wings Without Complicated Controls

The heart of the Autowing design is its automatically adjusting mechanical wing system.

Rather than requiring the operator to individually position hydraulic wings, the wing geometry responds automatically as the moldboard is angled. With the simple operation of the blade-angle control, the plow transitions from a high-capacity scoop to an effective windrowing configuration.

That means fewer controls to manage and more attention on efficiently clearing the property.

Wings That Give on Impact

Snow-covered properties can hide curbs and other obstacles. The Autowing's wings are spring loaded and designed to retract when encountering an obstruction, helping absorb impact instead of transferring the full force directly through the wing structure.

Once the obstruction is cleared, the wing returns to its operating position.

This impact-responsive design complements the full-trip moldboard to provide additional protection during demanding commercial snow removal.

Full-Trip Moldboard Protection

Hidden obstacles are a fact of winter work.

The Autowing incorporates a full-trip moldboard supported by four heavy-duty 3/8-inch steel coil springs. When the cutting edge encounters an obstruction, the moldboard can trip forward to help reduce impact forces transferred to the plow, skid steer, and operator.

The design provides valuable protection without sacrificing the aggressive snow-moving performance professional operators require.

Reinforced Against Blade Twisting

Moving deep, wet snow creates significant torsional forces across a wide snow plow.

Blue Diamond reinforces the Autowing with a fully welded formed torque box and four vertical reinforcement ribs designed to increase torsional strength and resist blade twisting under heavy loads.

A high-strength steel base channel provides additional structural support along the bottom of the moldboard, while the reinforced multi-angle wing design strengthens the outer sections of the plow.

The result is a snow blade engineered for repeated commercial use through difficult winters.

Follow Uneven Ground More Effectively

Parking lots and paved surfaces are rarely perfectly level.

The Autowing provides 6 degrees of oscillation, allowing the plow to follow changing ground contours instead of forcing the skid steer to compensate for every variation.

Better ground following helps maintain cutting-edge contact, improve scraping consistency, and reduce snow left behind after each pass.
