A skid steer grapple rake combines the clearing ability of an open rake with hydraulic grapple control, giving operators a versatile attachment for handling brush, logs, rocks, roots and irregular debris.

Unlike a solid bucket, the open tine design allows loose dirt and smaller material to fall through while larger material stays captured. The curved rake profile also makes it easier to gather material, roll debris into piles and work in areas where visibility to the cutting edge and load is important. One of the biggest advantages of a grapple rake is visibility. The open structure allows operators to see through the attachment when approaching brush piles, logs, rocks and other debris.

Eight widely spaced lower tines support larger material while allowing dirt and fines to fall away. This helps reduce the amount of unwanted soil carried with the load and makes grapple rakes especially useful for land clearing, storm cleanup, brush management and site preparation.

Grapple Rake – Heavy Duty

The Blue Diamond® Heavy Duty Grapple Rake is a versatile choice for skid steers and compact loaders under 65 HP. Its single reinforced top clamp, eight 1/2-inch tines and 52-inch grapple opening provide plenty of capacity for gathering and moving brush, logs, rocks and debris.

Heavy-duty 2 x 10-inch hydraulic cylinders provide clamping force, while greaseable 1-inch pivot pins support long-term service. The curved attachment profile also makes it easier to roll material into piles and tight areas.

Grapple Rake – Severe Duty

The Blue Diamond® Severe Duty Grapple Rake is engineered for larger machines and demanding professional applications. It features dual independently operating clamps, a massive 58-inch grapple opening and eight heavy-duty lower tines constructed from 3/4-inch steel.

Replaceable 23-series pin-on cast teeth provide serviceable wear points, while enclosed 2 x 10-inch cylinders, greaseable 1-1/4-inch pivot pins and a dual 4-inch square-tube mainframe provide the strength needed for repeated commercial use. Blue Diamond recommends the Severe Duty model for machines 65 HP and greater.

Best for: Commercial land clearing, demolition, storm debris, large logs, rocks, scrap and heavy material handling.

SINGLE CLAMP OR DUAL CLAMPS?

Heavy Duty – Single Clamp
A reinforced single grapple provides straightforward operation and strong control across the width of the attachment. It is a good fit for brush piles, logs and general debris where the load is relatively uniform.

Severe Duty – Dual Independent Clamps
Each grapple can close independently, allowing the attachment to conform more closely to uneven loads. That can provide better control when grabbing irregular logs, rocks, scrap or demolition debris.

BUILT TO LET THE DIRT FALL THROUGH

Both Blue Diamond grapple rakes use eight lower tines spaced approximately 9–10 inches apart. The spacing retains large material while allowing much of the loose dirt and smaller debris to pass between the tines.

That makes the grapple rake particularly effective when the goal is to remove brush, logs, rocks or debris without hauling unnecessary soil along with the load.
