The self-loading design is what sets the Blue Diamond Heavy Duty Material Spreader apart from conventional hopper spreaders. Instead of using another machine or manually loading the hopper, the operator can use the attachment like a bucket to scoop material directly from a stockpile.
Once loaded, transport the material to the application area and engage the hydraulics to begin spreading. The hydraulic-driven steel agitator continually moves material toward the spreading system, helping reduce bridging and maintain a more consistent flow.

CONTROL THE SPREAD
Different applications require different coverage. The Heavy Duty Material Spreader provides a spread pattern ranging from approximately 30 inches to 30 feet, giving operators the flexibility to work across both confined and open areas.
Manually adjustable gates provide a wide range of settings for controlling the amount of material entering the spreader. This makes it easier to adapt output to the material being applied and the coverage required.
For applications that require additional control, an optional Sidewalk Deflector Kit (PN 101155) is available to help limit broadcast into surrounding areas.

The Heavy Duty Material Spreader is constructed from steel for demanding commercial use. A hardened cutting edge supports repeated self-loading, while the bolted protective grate helps keep unwanted debris out of the spreading mechanism.
Inside the hopper, a hydraulic-driven steel agitator keeps material moving. At the bottom of the system, a reinforced steel spreading disc and replaceable bolt-on paddles distribute material while keeping common wear components serviceable.
Reinforced hydraulic lines, standard couplers, integrated side steps, and a weather-resistant powder-coated finish add practical durability and convenience for everyday operation.
