The Blue Diamond® Rock & Concrete Grinder delivers controlled, high-torque cutting performance for excavators working in rock, concrete and asphalt. Built for demanding excavation applications, the transverse dual-drum design concentrates cutting force directly into the material to efficiently grind, profile and remove material while maintaining greater control over the finished cut.
From utility trenching and concrete removal to tunneling, scaling and mass rock excavation, this attachment provides a precise alternative for applications where conventional excavation methods can create excessive vibration or leave an uneven profile. CONTROL THE CUT
Traditional breaking methods fracture material. The Blue Diamond Rock & Concrete Grinder cuts and removes it progressively, giving the operator greater control over excavation depth, wall profile and finished dimensions.
That makes the grinder especially valuable when the job calls for precision. During trenching, the cutter can produce clean trench walls while limiting disturbance outside the desired excavation area. During concrete removal or profiling, operators can selectively remove material instead of breaking a larger area than necessary. In tunneling and confined excavation, low vibration can also help reduce disruption to surrounding material and structures.
HIGH TORQUE. CONTROLLED PRODUCTION.
The cutter drums are driven by powerful hydraulic motors through a rugged spur-gear transmission. The combination of high torque, cutting force and an aggressive cutter-bit arrangement keeps the drums working continuously through challenging material.
Available motor displacement options also allow the attachment to be configured around the excavator's hydraulic capabilities, helping match cutter performance to the machine instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all hydraulic setup.
